Today we went on a field trip to Boston to visit the State House. We went on a tour and learned a lot about the important things that happen in the building. We visited the Senate Chamber, House Chamber, Memorial Hall and the Govenor's Office. We met State Senator Sal N. DiDomenico and he shared about his role in the government! Each room was beautiful, had so much character and so much history. It was a wonderful experience and we are so grateful that we were able to bring third graders to such an important place in Massachusetts!
