Bus Simulation

As we near the end of school, it is important to remember our bus rules, especially during field trip time. Some of our second graders helped me to simulate a bus ride and everyone paid attention to the moving chicken as the driver had to "turn around" when she became distracted. Great job role playing second graders!!

Mr. Zajas and Miss Swanson

Mr. Zajas and Miss Swanson have been building excitement around playing an instrument for those students going to Proctor. They introduced different brass and wind instruments and even did a lovely duet of The Star Spangled Banner.

Preschoolers Learn from the "Big Kids"

Students in Miss Judy's class enjoyed being read to by children in Mr. Kilham's class. Children in Miss Carol's class practiced "EEKK" (reading elbow to elbow and/or knee to knee) with students in Miss Sideri's class.

Third Grade Poetry Share

Third graders have been working tirelessly to write, edit and publish their own poetry. This morning was a showcase of this extraordinary work, as well as an opportunity to practice their presentation skills. Two girls wrote about me and I couldn't have been more honored!
