A second grade class goes on a clock hunt to practice telling time. Getting children up and about keeps their brains flowing!

Earth Saving Concert

The third graders put in a performance that taught us about the importance of sustainability and saving our most precious resources. The narrative that ran throughout the performance focused on a group of children out to save the Ipswich River from pollution.  The performance also connected to our curriculum and the science of sound! It was outstanding and thought provoking.

Thank You Topsfield Fire

We want to thank the Topsfield Fire Department for coming to teach the children about fire safety. They also taught the children about the different parts of their uniform to help them feel more comfortable if they were to ever see them respond to an emergency all dressed up.

The Calico Tiger

Congratulations to our third grade actors and stage crew!!! They did an amazing job last night performing in the Calico Tiger. 

Our New Garden!!!

Thank you to all those who helped build our new garden last Saturday!  This effort is just one example of the many contributions by Andrew Prazar, the GREEN Committee and others who have worked tirelessly to teach our students about sustainability and have now created an outdoor learning space for our school.  You are all amazing!

DASH in Grade 3

We had parent volunteers working in third grade classrooms today teaching the children about decibels. They listened to various sounds and charted them according to the number of predicted

decibels and then checked their answers.

 

Camping Day

Miss Sideri's class earned Camping Day, full with fire pits, Smore's and sleeping bags. The children read by flashlight and made fireflies out of plastic eggs. The children had a blast!
